Hobbytech CRX18 White

The CRX18 is a 1/18-scale replica of the CRX, the iconic model from our brand. 

This mini crawler is designed like a 1/10-scale model, with a metal ladder-frame chassis, a centrally mounted transmission (positioned slightly toward the front), a low-mounted motor, and two axles, each connected to the chassis by four links. 

The micro steering servo is a 3-wire model with a standard connector. To lower the center of gravity as much as possible, it is mounted on the front axle (AMS mounting). Power comes from a 55T micro brushed motor. 

The CRX18’s electronics include an all-in-one module (receiver – ESC) with 9 ports for connecting a complete lighting system with turn signals and brake lights. The CRX18 comes with two LED headlights that can be controlled using the radio system. The battery is a 2S 600 mAh pack that provides several hours of run time. 

In terms of appearance, the CRX18 is a faithful replica of its larger sibling. The axles have the same design as those on the CRX2. The body shell features the same grille and accessories (jerry can, snorkel, windshield wipers, and mirrors). The tires are exact replicas of the Climber tires. One nice detail: the side steps have a slot that holds the lower edge of the body shell to prevent it from being damaged by obstacles.

A wide range of options will be available to improve the CRX18’s performance or appearance, including ball bearings and hydraulic shock absorbers …

The CRX18 can be driven indoors or outdoors and is equally at home in small or large spaces. Its crawling capability is impressive. On rocks, its light weight, balance, and effective tires let it climb over incredible obstacles. The radio system lets you adjust the throttle and steering end points. The throttle adjustment lets you fine-tune your driving and adapt the CRX18’s speed to the terrain and obstacles.
