1.CRX2-RTR – 1/10 CRX2
RTR Version
Radio-Controlled / Electric
The CRX2 has all the features and capabilities of a modern, high-performance scale crawler. It is now available as an RTR with a hand-painted long-cab polycarbonate body shell. The body shell on this RTR version is equipped with functional LEDs.
To develop the CRX2, we started with a clean sheet and designed a completely new product that is different from our iconic CRX. We made all the changes requested by users we met at specialist events such as the Model Festival.
The CRX2 RTR has a 313 mm wheelbase, which can be adjusted to one of four lengths: 305, 313, 317, or 324 mm.
The axles are much more realistic and now feature reinforced driveshafts.
The new steering knuckles provide 0° Ackermann. The wheels remain parallel through turns, greatly improving the steering angle.
To prevent torque twist (a wheel lifting during acceleration), the new drivetrain allows the center driveshafts to rotate in opposite directions. The CRX2 can now run with much greater stability and efficiency.
The CRX2 RTR is equipped with four Wolf Shocks. These realistic shocks, with internal springs, can be set up in droop or semi-droop mode.
For added realism, the CRX2 RTR comes with 106/36 mm Climber tires. Designed by us, these tires provide excellent traction on a wide variety of terrain.
The CRX2 also features other major upgrades, including new suspension links, a multi-position battery mount, and a new CMS (Chassis-Mounted Servo) plate for mounting the steering servo on the chassis.
The electronics in this RTR version include a waterproof 21 kg steering servo, a 35T brushed motor, and a Konect KT3X radio system.
