CRX2.1 Crawler Kit

Body shell with a 313 mm wheelbase (or a different wheelbase if the links are changed)
The CRX 2.1 Kit
Compared with the CRX 2, this new version includes new driveshafts that are much stronger than the previous models, as well as specific side steps for the body shell you choose.
The CRX 2 at a glance
Following the success of the first CRX version, we set out to develop a new chassis that would be even more capable while remaining just as realistic. Drawing on our experience in the scale RC field, we designed a modern vehicle that meets the expectations of the most demanding RC enthusiasts. The CRX 2 is now a proven, well-regarded platform.
The axles are stylish and realistic. The transmission features an anti-torque-twist function. To optimize the steering angle, we offer steering knuckles with a 0° Ackermann angle (the wheels remain parallel when turning).
The CRX 2 is equipped with aluminum shock absorbers with internal springs. They provide plenty of realism, but above all, excellent crawling performance. Depending on the spring position, you can set them up for droop or semi-droop. The vehicle has a low center of gravity to improve grip, while allowing the wheels to drop down and find the necessary grip and traction.
A Panhard bar can be added to the hub carriers if required by your custom setup.
The chassis wheelbase can be adjusted by changing the length of the links (see optional parts) and their mounting points on the chassis.

Thanks to its adjustable wheelbase, the CRX2 can accommodate a wide range of body shells.

The battery can be placed in different positions to suit the desired performance. The system also accommodates different battery sizes.

The new steering knuckles and CVD driveshafts provide a 0° Ackermann angle. The wheels remain parallel when turning, which improves the steering angle.

To prevent torque twist (a wheel lifting during acceleration), the new drivetrain allows the center driveshafts to rotate in opposite directions. The CRX2 can handle much more stably and efficiently.

Shock absorber setup for the CRX2 “Wolf” shocks:
Recommended setup = semi-droop: short, soft spring on the bottom and medium-length, soft spring on top.
Scale-realism setup = droop: medium-length, soft spring on the bottom and short, soft spring on top.
Lubrication = fill part of the shock body with very thin silicone oil (100 cSt, for example).
