CRX2 MadPerf LIMITED EDITION Kit

The MAD PERF is the latest evolution of our Performance Scale chassis.

SUPPLIED WITH A CLEAR BODY SHELL AND NO ELECTRONICS.

The chassis rails are made of carbon fiber for improved performance and to meet the demands of the discipline. The very low center of gravity and 4 mm-thick carbon fiber provide rigidity. The numerous mounting holes allow for a wide range of setup options.

The center skid plate is machined from Delrin (right here at our facility in Toulouse!) to slide over obstacles. It also lets you adjust the drivetrain position (forward/rearward) and its lateral angle to align the driveshafts.

The aluminum servo mount attaches to the front axle. The upper link mount is adjustable, allowing you to set the angle of the front axle.

The LCG drivetrain offers 18% overdrive, but can also be used in standard mode. As a reminder, overdrive lets the front wheels rotate faster than the rear wheels. This improves crawling performance and turning radius.

Rigid, strong stainless steel links with M4 threads.

Aluminum steering knuckles with zero Ackermann angle and integrated weight mounts, allowing you to install the optional brass weights we offer.

Steel spools are used in the differentials to reduce drivetrain play and improve reliability.

KONECT steering servo horn with clamping screw.

On this version, the C-hubs are made of aluminum and retain a 10° caster angle. The rear knuckles are now made of brass and are also supplied in plastic, allowing you to fine-tune the front-to-rear weight balance even further.

The MAD PERF Limited Edition is equipped with a Beetle-style body shell. Its badass look also makes it easier to roll the vehicle back over after a rollover.

In addition, scale performance tires with competition compound are now supplied on aluminum beadlock-style wheels (surprise color).

SETUP TIPS: Use 8 mm spacers to limit shock travel and therefore axle articulation.
