The CRX3 PERF ULTIMATE is Hobbytech’s all-new crawler, developed specifically for the rapidly growing Performance Scalecategory. Rather than simply adapting an existing platform, the CRX3 PERF ULTIMATE was designed from the ground up to combine realistic scale looks with the capability and performance expected by today’s competitive drivers.
Featuring a purpose-developed chassis, premium components, and suspension designed to deliver maximum efficiency on technical terrain, the CRX3 PERF ULTIMATE embodies Hobbytech’s vision of what a true Performance Scale crawler should be.
In this configuration, the servo is mounted above the axle using the dedicated mount.
Advantage: The BTA (Behind The Axle) steering link clears the front of the axle and reduces the risk of snagging on obstacles.
In this configuration, the servo is mounted behind the axle, as close as possible to the differential housing.
Advantages: lower center of gravity.
The offset axle nose allows the servo to be mounted in an optimal position and further lowers the front of the chassis.
