The new XR8 Pro G3 ESC is more compact than the PROG2 version (1.3 mm shorter and 5.3 mm narrower, making it 15% less bulky).

Dual braking mode

This technology provides linear braking that resembles the operation of disc brakes on a full-size vehicle. This “Disc Brake” mode lets you adjust braking force and distribution.

Lower operating temperature

The ESC’s new design, combined with “freewheeling” technology, improves efficiency and lowers operating temperature. The maximum temperature is reduced by approximately 15°.

Intelligent fan operation

Intelligent fan start and stop reduces noise and saves energy. The ESC fan does not run when the temperature is low; it starts when the preset temperature is reached.

Advanced Boost & Turbo Timing technology

When paired with a compatible motor, the ESC uses the same Turbo Timing technology as the XR10 Pro series, used in 1/10-scale on-road and off-road racing. This ESC supports up to 48 degrees of Boost and Turbo Timing. This setting increases performance by 50%.

Built-in reverse polarity protection

The reinforced protection circuit protects the ESC against reverse polarity.

Real-time data

The data logging function provides real-time data when the ESC is connected to the OTA module (throttle output, RPM, voltage and current, motor and ESC temperature

Capacitor thermal protection

Capacitor thermal protection helps prevent irreversible ESC damage caused by overloading.

The ESC is rated IP5X.

This provides highly effective dust protection for driving in a variety of environments. The ESC is also equipped with a small fan guard.
