XERUN XR10 Pro-Gray-G3-X
The Xerun XR10 G3X is the latest evolution of Hobbywing’s renowned ESC. It is designed for 1/10-scale touring car, buggy, and F1 racing.
There are two versions: the standard G3 (black) and the G3X (titanium gray). The standard G3 is better suited to Modified-class competition, delivering power smoothly. The G3X is ideal for Stock racing, delivering power more aggressively.
The G3 version comes standard with 13AWG wire, while the G3X comes standard with 12AWG wire and does not have reverse-polarity protection.
Built-in data logging
The XR10 Pro G3 has a data logger that can store up to 19 sessions of 20 minutes each, for a total of 380 minutes of storage.
Data history (displayed as a graph)
Connect to the app to view stored data. Data logs from a run (displayed as a graph), as well as real-time data.
Freewheel function
The freewheel effect affects deceleration and helps reduce temperature.
Compared with the G2 version, operating temperature is lower, improving the ESC’s overall performance.
Adjusting the motor RPM reduction rate allows for faster deceleration when you release the throttle, improving cornering control.
Note: A higher RPM reduction rate results in faster deceleration when the throttle is released and the “freewheel” function is enabled.
Disc brake mode
An innovative closed-loop brake control function (disc brake mode) provides more precise, linear braking.
This braking mode also takes the brake curve into account, allowing you to customize the feel of this function.
Traditional braking modes are still available (and save you from changing the brake pads, lol).
New reinforced fan
The frameless fan blades are made from special materials that significantly increase their stiffness.
Fan start-stop function
The fan turns off when the ESC does not need it and automatically turns on when the ESC temperature rises and cooling is required.
Note: The smart start-stop function can be disabled in the settings.
Basic or Expert menu
Two adjustment levels are available to simplify setup: one with the most commonly used settings and another with more comprehensive options. Choose the one that suits your preferences.
Softening 2.0 Technology
The ESC features Softening 2.0 technology, which softens the driving force during the initial acceleration phase, significantly improving the handling of high-powered cars.
Reverse-polarity protection
The standard G3 version includes a built-in protection circuit against accidental reverse battery connection.
Note:
1. The standard G3 version must be used with a capacitor pack to provide reverse-polarity protection. The ESC’s standard capacitor does not have reverse-voltage protection.
Connecting the battery with reversed polarity will damage the capacitor pack, but the ESC will not be damaged.
2. The G3X ESC does not have reverse-voltage protection.
Built-in BEC for high-power servos
An adjustable BEC is built into the ESC and provides an output current of up to 10A peak.
The output voltage is adjustable from 5.0 V to 7.4 V in 0.1 V increments.
