504 body shell

Hobbytech, a French designer and manufacturer of radio-controlled cars, is proud to offer this licensed reproduction of the 504 pickup body shell. This box includes several accessories (fender flares, headlight guards, stickers) that let you build the version of your choice (traditional 504 pickup or Dangel version).

The CRX 2.1 KIT

Compared with the CRX 2, this new version includes new driveshafts that are much stronger than the previous models, as well as model-specific side steps to suit the body shell you choose. 

The CRX 2 at a glance

Following the success of the first CRX, we set out to develop a new chassis that would be even more capable while remaining just as realistic. Drawing on our experience in scale RC, we designed a modern vehicle that meets the expectations of the most demanding hobbyists. The CRX 2 is now a mature, well-established platform. 

The axles are stylish and realistic. The transmission gearbox features an anti-torque-twist function. To optimize the steering angle, we offer steering knuckles with a 0° Ackermann angle (the wheels remain parallel through turns). 

The CRX 2 is equipped with aluminum shock absorbers and internal springs. They add plenty of realism, but above all deliver excellent performance over obstacles. Depending on the spring position, you can set up the suspension for droop or semi-droop. The vehicle's center of gravity is low to improve traction, while allowing the wheels to drop and find the traction and grip they need.

A Panhard bar can be added to the hub carriers if required by your custom setup.

By changing the link lengths (see options) and chassis mounting points, you can adjust the chassis wheelbase. 

Adjustable wheelbase

Thanks to its adjustable wheelbase, the CRX2 can be fitted with a wide range of body shells.

Multiple-position battery tray

You can choose from several battery positions to suit your desired performance. The system also accommodates different battery formats.

0° ACKERMANN

The new steering knuckles and CVD driveshafts provide a 0° Ackermann angle. The wheels remain parallel through turns, improving the steering angle.

Anti-Torque-Twist System

To prevent torque twist (a wheel lifting during acceleration), the new drivetrain allows the center driveshafts to rotate in opposite directions. The CRX2 can tackle terrain with much greater stability and efficiency.

Designed and manufactured by Hobbytech, this tire provides excellent traction for your scale RC vehicle. It’s a hit with RC enthusiasts! It’s compatible with the TRX4. Supplied with a foam insert, it fits 1.9 wheels.

Complete 90 mm Wolf-type shock absorbers

“Wolf” shock absorber setup for the CRX2:

Recommended setup = semi-droop: small soft spring on the bottom and medium-sized soft spring on the top.

Scale realism setup = droop: medium-sized soft spring on the bottom and small soft spring on the top.

Lubrication = fill part of the shock body with very light silicone oil (100 cSt, for example).
